Ross Cournoyer serves as the Director of Systems for LearningLeaders, a Hong Kong and Shanghai-based consulting firm specializing in professional skills training and lifelong educational services. At LearningLeaders, his main roles are coaching young adults and professionals and to refine organizational processes to make sure coaches, students, and parents have the best possible experience.
Previous to joining LearningLeaders, Ross has taught and mentored students of all ages. At New Pathway, he managed and helped grow the English Language Arts program, which offered advanced English as a Second Language courses to middle schoolers. Ross also oversaw the growth of the program to offer Debate, Public Speaking, Novel Club, and Essay Writing electives. He taught oral English to primary school students in Minhang District, Shanghai for three years before moving to New Pathway. Ross has also mentored students preparing their college applications, provided 1-on-1 test preparation instruction, and created curriculum for AP and SAT II U.S. History courses.
Ross attended the University of Arizona, where he majored in Political Science. He is currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology from University of Massachusetts Lowell. He has become a systems, computer science, and IT enthusiast, and dedicates a majority of his time to studying and seeking opportunities to engage with the coding/tech community in Shanghai.
Ross currently resides in Shanghai and speaks basic Mandarin Chinese.
