World Scholars Cup is an academic competition that is comprised of four events: 1) Team Debate, 2) Collaborative Writing, 3) Scholar's Bowl (Live Quiz Show), and 4) Scholar's Challenge (Multiple Choice Test).

At LearningLeaders we support student participation in WSC because we feel any activity that combines fun, friends, and learning is a great one for students to to join!

Having said that, historically the level of competitiveness of debate has been lower than other competitions. We think WSC is a great introduction to debate for many students, though not ultimately the best channel to practice competitive debate skills.
