So much so, in fact, that we dedicated an entire Seasonal Launch Event to our focus on Partnerships.
Established in the fall of 1981, the Harvard College Debating Union (HCDU) is Harvard University's only internationally competitive debate association and currently holds the title of top-ranked debate team in the USA.
In 2021, LearningLeaders and the HCDU partnered to create the World Schools Debating League (WSDL), now the largest Schools Debating League in Asia.
The Cambridge Union Society was founded in 1815 and has since become one of the most prominent Debating Unions in the entire world.
Obviously.ai is a leading 'ML-as-a-service company' based in San Francisco, California.
WSDL Asia is held online across selected Wednesday evenings after school, and open to middle and high school students from 21 countries and territories across Asia. The top teams are invited to contest Finals Weekend near the end of the semester.
WSDL is also a unique educational opportunity, with students having the chance to learn from some of the world's most experienced debate professionals. Between them, our organizers and judges have participated in hundreds of competitions - as tournament conveners, chief adjudicators, national team coaches - and champion debaters.
The Cambridge Asia British Parliamentary Championships (CABP) is hosted each year by the Cambridge Union Society (CUS) and LearningLeaders (LL).
All CABP events are non-profit. 100% of proceeds are allocated to host the events, secure top quality adjudicators, and to provide scholarships for students who are unable to pay full registration fees.
